At Hampden DuBose Academy, community involvement doesn’t have to stop for summer break.
HDA offers many extra-curricular activities year-round for students and staff alike.
2015-2016 Community & Special Events Included:
- Monday Night Bible Studies with Pastor & Dean of Students, Jim Powell;
- Ragga’Camp (coming soon);
- Outdoor Worship Nights by a bonfire featuring music led by local musicians (including iU Band)
- Recreational Soccer for elementary school students
- Annual campus & community events like Blue/White Day, the Fall Festival, and Christmas at HDA
- Recreational trips to the beach with middle & high school students

- HDA students love to play 3v3 soccer tournaments & recreational soccer leagues. Our students love to get out and play!

- B&W Day invites students of all ages to compete and gain points for their team to see who is the ultimate team, blue or white?!

- Pirates vs. Ninjas face off in a school-wide game of capture the flag!

- Our art teachers love to use the campus as their canvas! This year, the whole school was covered in sidewalk chalk from our Pre-K through high school art students.

- HDA invites parents to join in honoring their students achievements with special events held throughout the school year.

- Mr. James Powell Jr. always delivers unique performances with his music students. Prep for a very special graduation performance is pictured.
